Shafer believes having Lester in the box helps McDonald

Shafer: Lester will be in the booth the rest of the season

Did anyone watching TV see Lester on the field first half? I'm wondering if he went up there to start the second half..

Few other notes..

CN
Shafer on Kirkland: having Dyshawn back made it difficult for Josh to get on the field along with productivity of Hodge

CN
Shafer on 3-4 vs 4-3: He's run a 3-4 a ton. Okie package is out of 3-4. Run 3-4 base against West Virginia and Louisville. Stay multiple

I know, he walked right past me in 301. At halftime, he and McDonald both kept their heads down. They were hearing it pretty good from some folks about not playing Jerome more.

Couldn't imagine who was saying that...

I saw a couple of shots of Lester in the box, both first and second halfs.

The article said that Hunt had to adjust to communicating with Lester via headset instead of face to face. Does that mean the calls came through the headset, or was someone on the sideline signalling the plays?

I believe they were still signaling plays from sideline and the headset communication was after hunt had returned to the sideline.

I'm assuming he meant getting tips between series.

Noticed Hunt wearing the headset a lot also on the broadcast every time they came off the field.

I saw Loeb seemed to be more like a coach, had a baseball hat on under a headset . Was a yard on the field signaling plays in. Was more involved this week.

Loeb is going to make a heck of a coach. Would be nice to keep him around as a GA.
As soon as Loeb dips his toe in that market, Marrone will take him to Buffalo as an "offensive quality control assistant". :p

dud can make a fortune doing photo shoots for gq and such- maybe when that career is over

We usually do have a QB signaling, whether it be real or dummy. The sideline coach that was more involved including being on the field running huddles was Moore.
