The kid was and still is my favorite. Much like Lawrence Moten in basketball.

It's why I love this kid so much. He overcame so much, with everything that was on his plate. So many kids take the wrong path when faced with adversity such as that. Proud to say he went to Syracuse. Very deserving of the award.

Never heard his story before and he was a favorite even before then. Next time I'm feeling slighted i'll open up that link and read what he's gone through. What amazing strength.
