Shaqquan Aaron 2014 SF

Thanks. Looks like he has LOTS of talent. Quick release on the jumpers. Poor man's Durant or even DerMarr Johnson?

Not a bad looking prospect, I like the handling and his slashing. Thanks for the update Francis.

Do we know if his Syracuse interest a result of Jason Hart or was he interested even before Hart came on the scene?

He looks pretty impressive, granted its a highlight clip so that's the intention. Saw scout has him at 20 but ESPN didn't have him top 25. IMHO scout is generally more accurate. Curious to which site you think is most accurate Francis, Rivals ESPN or Scout. He's relatively young too so my guess is he either grows another inch or so or starts to bulk up and get wider. Looks like he'd be a real good get for us. Do you think Jason Hart has his ear enough to send him out east?

There was no link between him and SU until the end of last year. So you've to figure that Hart passed the word to the staff about him.

I don't put much stock on rankings when looking at a prospect. With that said I do think Dave Telep is the best and I do enjoy the work of the trio at scout. Rivals puts more weight on a players pro potential in their rankings, which is why I believe their rankings are always way off based and inaccurate.

I've always thought similar about Rivals. I agree Telep is definitely very good. My only beef with ESPN rankings is I feel like there's been many times where a guy will be ranked top 30/40 then sign with a mid tier high major and all of a sudden drop, or be ranked top 60 sign with a big name school and all of a sudden they jump 20 spots. Also, maybe I'm bias but every other scouting service will have us as a school a prospect is considering but they won't. Noah Vonleh apparently told Dave Telep us and UNC were his dream schools, you say he's our main target, he mentions us in various interviews, but we're currently not listed as a school he's considering.

Recruiting database can be a joke at times. Scout didn't have SU listed on Jerami Grant's profile until September. He was offered in May lol

This kid seems like a prototypical SU 3. Really smooth player.
