Former Syracuse men's basketball player Shaun Belbey '19, G'20 has joined the Syracuse women's basketball staff as the Manager of Multimedia and Technology in January 2022. In this role, the former Orange letter winner will assist Acting Head Coach Vonn Read with all aspects of technology including film exchange, scouting data compilation and coaches analysis.

At the start of the season I wondered if they would add another coach, when they didn't I thought it might be because we just had a interim coach. Now that league play started we add one, should we read anything into this?

IMO,
It’s the responsible way to support the current Coach and players. COVID also messes up a coaches planning and an extra coach will help address strategic planning and skills building phases.
