And the rest were given a choice--adhere to the offseason committment, focus, work ethic, and off field conduct that the new coaching staff was demanding, or self-select to opt out of the program. And those that weren't willing to do those things walked away--which was their choice, not criticizing them for that decision--but it was 100% predicated upon making a cultural change within the team for those that remained and those who would come on board later as recruits.
