JK.   But, I really did have a great time, all of it. 
Going to 3-4 classes a week for 2 semesters isn't like working in the salt mines. 
And there's the social aspects of it, being around thousands of kids your same age, etc.

But the other things I took away from that article are - the G league coaches may not play him all that much, since as a skinny 17 year old going up against grown-ass MEN who are likely 23-28, he may not be able to physically compete. 
AND - they may not want him to look "too good", so they can hang onto him for down the road.

He'd be getting all the minutes he could handle at SU, plus 30k+ fans for big games, national TV, a chance at a nice NCAA run, and working w/ a HOF coach.

He gets none of that going this route.

I think he will likely end up looking back on this decision, and regretting it.
Even if it does work out for him.
