Can we please stop trying to justify losses?

We barely beat nova; we try to justify them as a good team and hunts ejection. Don't hold hunt accountable or SS for undisciplined play (more obvious as season has gone along. To Many dead ball penalties, personal fouls, and celebrating at inappropriate times).

Maryland: Ohhh if it wasn't for 2 or 3 plays we would have won. Lost to a mediocre team by 14, and scored with 48 seconds left in the game or else it would have been 34-13. Wasn't really close, we were playing catchup and they were playing to end the game in the second half.

NC ST:first acc win for Doeren and we start excusing the loss because of injuries.

Seems like after every loss people try to justify the losses and make it okay. can't we just look at it like it really is? In some of these games we have been downright embarrassing and people are making it out to be okay. Not that it will help. Maybe it's just a pet peave but take off the Orange glasses. If this was rutgirls or another team we hated then we would be having a field day making fun of there team. Don't try to excuse these losses just because it's our team.

The orange-colored classes wearers will bury their heads in the sand. But, it's undeniable that the team wasn't prepared to start the season. The backups weren't prepared to take over when starters went down. The HC really didm't have a clue that the offensive scheme his OC was implementing wouldn't work with the players on the roster. Shafer will get another shot. But, he really needs to rethink his approach because this ain't workin'.

We are a middle of the pack p5 school by stats and a lower p5 team by w/l. Why is that? Why do our stats point to a .500 team and our w/l record not reflect that?! And if any of your reasons are out of our control, immediately strike them from the list - as they don't count. They are "excuses" and should be overcome by genius coaching, talent, and magic fairy dust.

You can't stand for a reasoned take. That there are things we suck at (in our control) and things that have happened to this team that are out of our control (injuries, bye weeks, etc.) - that all add up to our record. Demanding that the stuff that falls outside of our control be overcome, just 'cus - is not reasoned. It's not seeing the situation clearly.

We are a little bit better than NC State by the numbers, but failed to win a close game. Was it the horrific pick-6 or injuries? If you answered one or the other - your'e not being reasoned. You're wearing orange glasses if you say it's the injuries - but if you say it's the pick-6 than you're leaving out just how off and out-0f-character a performance our line had. 8 sacks?! 30 yards rushing?! Those are outliers for the whole season and not consistent with how we've played. But AJ's pick was horrible. A bad decision. He failed on that play and contributed to the loss.

Anyone who says "No excuses" is as guilty of delusion as someone who is wearing orange glasses.
