Side by side comparison Su vs Temple

I do think our resume is better than Temples.
They're 7-8 vs. the top 100, we're 8-10.
13 of Temples win has been vs. 200+ teams, only 6 of our wins have.
Their worst loss is vs. 216 ECU -- which is around the same ballpark as the Johnnies (StJ worse obviously)
Temple did play a good OOC schedule but lost to all of them - Nova, Utah, UNC, St.Joe's, Wiscy, Butler.
They have no top 200 OOC wins. We have 6.

It looks like tomorrow the board will be Husky fans?
Not me.
Not ever.
The only thing worse would be rooting for Georgetown.

I've seen most of TU's games this season (son is a soph there) and they are very likable. DeCosey is having a phenomenal season. Josh Brown is a very steady (think Sr. year Scoop) PG, who doesn't make mistakes. They don't turn the ball over. Obie, Bond, Coleman all playing very well right now, with Obie close to 50% from 3 in the past 10 games (40% over all).

I will be pulling hard for Temple no matter what it does to Syracuse's chances. If we had taken care of business and beaten just one of a handful of crappy teams, then we wouldn't even be having this conversation. I've also found that depending on other teams' performances to bolster our resume seldom ends well. We should easily have left no doubt in the committee's mind that we were in. We failed miserably.

Good find! It truly does look like at this point we still have multiple chances to get in, with this looking like a good one...hopefully after a not so close loss to UConn. It looks like tomorrow the board will be Husky fans? That sounds like a game I may have to watch.

Hell yeah. I can put my disdain for yukon aside for one game if that means us maybe getting to play in the tourney. Absolutely.

I can respect that and expected to see a number of replies like this. I also expected to see a number like Nicknack posted, and was curious to see which one would have more. I have no trouble with the enemy of my enemy thing at the moment. Of course I can understand having your son there and with the team being exciting and likeable.

I'm not sure how it would even effect the RPI, but if I them a team winning could help Syracuse, I will be rooting for that team(and that'd be the case even if I hadn't wagered cash last night on SU making it into the tournament).
