In many cases, the correlation between good FT pct. and good 3-point pct. is not as tight as one might assume.

Maybe more players should emulate the Hal Greer system.

I agree. But what other variable explains that? A bad offense where good shooters take bad shots

If you have, say, a senior shoot 90% from the line and only 33% from three on 9 three point attempts a game, your offense has a problem

Not true. He does not run just ISO ball. He did at times with Doty, but it was not exclusive to the team.
