15 are underclassmenNot sure something has to give as we only have 2 true cornerbacks and Neil Nunn playing corner. With Cole's departure we have zero depth behind Chestnut and Williams.
We currently only have 10 scholarship DBacks on the roster and we have 5 on the field. The injury bug has bitten us back there to. We also lose 2 more next year in Coley and possibly GWilliams which would knock us down to 8.
Safety and Rover health has been an issue and additionally safety play overall has been a bit of an issue but especially when we have to go to the bench.
We need to get better in the back middle (and health might have something to do with that.) But Carter (4 games) and Hanna at Rover (2 games), Williams (2 games) have missed a lot of time with injuries. Then when Williams/Cole were hurt we're putting Simmons and Greenwood at corner. Not ideal.
By my projections, if nobody leaves we'll have 17 defensive backs between Rover, both Safeties and both Cornerbacks. I think this likely the new norm with the 3-3-5. I'm projecting 4 Rovers, 7 Safeties and 6 cornerbacks. Some can play multiple positions.
Could be a little heavy but you have to build some depth.

We need help at WR too, wondering if someone could possibly make a switch...
Maybe Foster or Perry could become a ( WR )Any of these guys have good enough hands to be receivers... kidding... kind of
It seemed like every position was undersized. Every DB was like 5'9 or 5'10".i just had a flashback to the quality of DBs we had under FHCSS and that’s actually was such a weakness it was destructive to the team. The difference in athlete we have all over the field is very noticeable under Dino.
Yup. Kids that tried hard. But watching them get dragged down the field game after game was disheartening.i just had a flashback to the quality of DBs we had under FHCSS and that’s actually was such a weakness it was destructive to the team. Need all these dbs because other teams have a QB that can throw?? HmmThink we play a lot of good QBs this year, need all the DB help we can get
Yep a lot of teams are going with the 5 DBs with the passing games of today. Seems like you can't have enough.Think we play a lot of good QBs this year, need all the DB help we can get
