Though I have no names to throw at this post, I would like to see a coordinator who plays aggressively putting loads of pressure on the QB and challenges WR's off the line of scrimmage. Basically, I want a very disruptive D.
Who do you have in mind?

I like Doust but i dont see if happening. One guy i would take a look at is the DC from Villanova. Forgot his name starts with a D but he has coached the DL and the LB positions and is a known force recruiting in NJ. Villanova always has a good D. Might be worth a shot possibly as DL coach

It will be someone associated with whatever HC we hire. Of the main candidates being discussed...

If it's Frost, Oregons DC is an alum and a lifer there. But this guy is underneath him: http://www.goducks.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=500&ATCLID=206829062

Here is Babers DC: http://bgsufalcons.com/coaches.aspx?rc=734&path=football I don't see a historic tie between them and think he could do better on a P5 budget though.

Baldwins staff all seems to be E/C Washington lifers. He might bring an upand comer east, but I bet he hires a coordinator with P5 and maybe regional experience. http://goeags.com/sports/m-footbl/coaches/index

Fleck coached under Schiano at RU and followed him to the NFL. Would he do him a solid to get him back in the game here? Would monkeyface accept it? Or he could bring his current DC: http://www.wmubroncos.com/ViewArtic...DB_OEM_ID=4600&ATCLID=205879484&Q_SEASON=2015

Sanford was on the Stanford staff when Shafer was there. He might listen to a recommendation to promote Daoust.

I would love to see Daoust promoted. The Shafer defense works and Daoust is his protégé.

The offensive woes contributes some to the D's exhaustion at the end of games (Pitt, UVA). Had an extremely young unit this year that will be better next year and I would feel confident Daoust would lead them well.

Really want Daoust to get the job, if not then this guy:

Both Allen and Pinkham have serious experience and are east coast guys originally, thank you!

San Jose State is leading the nation in passing defense. We should find out who the defensive coordinator of that team is and hire him on the spot.

He still has some nice moves

Would like to see Daoust, he certainly won't be unemployed long and would help ease the tension among players and recruits.
