This was my favorite monday of the CBB season so far... all of Big East twitter vs Goodman is an amazing thing to see.

As someone who grew up in RI and goes to many Friar games a year, Devine Providence made me want to run through a wall lol

A Depaul burner account made an 1.5 hour documentary about Providence / Gtown and Ed Cooley's controversial departure and Goodman threatened legal action on the burner account for what i'm assuming is defamation or slander.

Is Goodman the guy desperately trying to make his daughter someone in sports journalism? Like he is bringing her on his assignments and such?

Didn't JB have some issues with him too, beyond his normal journalist issues.

Right? I don't mind him. I think he's knowledgeable and is a good listen on the 68 podcast. Plus he has always been nice about SU and JB.

Seems like a few writers agreed to be part of a documentary about Providence basketball. A fan comparing Ed Cooley to Hitler and discussing the possibility of an affair is toeing the line.

I think Goodman etc are trying to say the person misrepresented themselves to get their cooperation in it.

A fan doc is hyperbolic? I thought it was well done. The affair stuff was weird but it was a massive story in providence and I’m sure Goodman doesn’t like that aspect since Ed prob is a good source for him.

These are media created storms that normal people don’t care about. It was a free doc on YouTube that I enjoyed about pc. Hope he does one on Syracuse
