I don't recall this being discussed previously, but I REALLY like this year's SU promo video they have been showing during the course of televised athletic events. Usually these things all look the same, and typically consist of the following elements:
SU's promo video subtly incorporates all of these elements, but is unique, clean, and edgy. I applaud whomever is responsible for producing it (I'd like to think it was Newhouse). Anyone have any inside info?
- some not-so-clever slogan ("Whattsamatta University: Home of Tomorrow's Visionary Leaders")
- predictable scenes of multi-cultural students engaged in "typical" college activities - peering into a test tube in a chemistry lab, seriously playing in some musical instrument, engaged in some off-campus "good works" environmental or humanitarian project, etc.
- shots of the famous alumni of that institution.
