I thought maybe the court was over a hockey rink...but only our guys were slipping and falling...too much Jack & Coke orPBR's before the game?

The Wells Fargo Center is the home of the Flyers and Sixers (and NLL and Arena Football).
It seems logical that the court might have a little condensation from the ice underneath but I've never seen/heard anything about the Sixers slipping on the court.

Maybe the people who wipe the court for the nba games do a much better Job.
