My girlfriend has watched the first three games of the season with me. During the first quarter, she made a comment that really worries me.
She said, "There's nothing you can really do to prevent slow starts." She talked about how her beloved Hershey Bears were always falling behind one season. Even after 80+ games, they couldn't get going early.
I'm worried. Is it a matter of play calling, scheming, getting the ball to our game breaker (Flashton) on the first drive, etc? We've got to do something to get out of the gate better than we have been.
