Small Forward Position Preview

Brandon Triche will never play small forward, MCW would play there before him

It was only 2 exhibitions but I feel all CJs work improving his outside shot may have effected his mid-range game, he used to be money on short jumpers/floaters, but was missing these in the exhibitions

I was strictly speaking in an absolute emergency. You're probably right. But I think Mookie would play there before either. Just a guess, unless Boeheim really has no confidence in him at all. In which case, it would be between Triche and MCW. Bottom line is, if we end up in a position where we're really debating this, we are in trouble lol.

This year I expect Kris Joseph to be the focus of the opposing teams defense. I hope coach has put in a few plays to help him or has been stressing for him to find the open man, He needs to be ready for the added attention.

I don't know, if KJ were hurt or in foul trouble three guards and 2 trees might work. A lot of teams start 6'5" small forwards any way.

Completely agree. He didn't react to that well last year, but I expect him to be much more comfortable this year. His numbers may not go up a ton, but I expect him to shoot a higher percentage and be a more efficient offensive player.

In a three guard lineup, who plays the SF position in the zone? Offensively it's not a major issue, but it'll be interesting to see who he puts down in the zone.
