If Smith went to Indiana they have game day on campus for the Michigan game tonight.

Don't scare me with such a generic title like that. I thought you were saying he's announced that's where he is going.

IU has spent big money on their facilities and they are very impressive. Problem is that football takes back seat to hoops. HC Wilson is a very good coach/recruiter so don't count the Hoosiers out for Laray.

Can't believe Anselmo was that well thought of...

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if he commuted. Guy is all over the place.

I agree with the subject head but I will be one shocked California dude if we pull out Laray:crazy:

I never saw Smith as a running back. Estime is more of a football player and will fill the role they had planned for Smith. I can see Smith eventually giving up football to focus on track. Why would you go to Indiana to play football?

no way he would be an every down back. they want him for the slot.

Why do we need every one of our running backs to be "every down backs?"

RB's are allowed to line up in the slot. It's not illegal.

i'm just saying that's not how they are going to use him

i don't know take it for what it's worth. who knows he may not even be committed, but slot would make a lot more sense then RB

Not sure Laray would have been an every down back either. More like PTG maybe with slot receiver added.

He loves Indiana saw the Hoosiers upset Michigan, he is hyped up.

Looks like we either shore up the wall around the state or concentrate elsewhere.

The NYS kids are jumping off the ship like the rats did the Titanic.

What term does Marsh use in these instances?

Never had a good feeling about Laray from the get go. And if it's a bball game that impressed him . . . . well, we have a bball team too, and a pretty good one (last 2 games notwithstanding) at that.

So much for silent verbals, too much like soft verbals.

We waste so much time on things that never come to fruition, however, some of us will never change.

Decision made. will announce tomorrow.
