and the ACC in a POWER BOWL ALLIANCE...fourth conference may be B1G. If you recall, indicated several threads ago that the ACC had a number of irons in the fire that will come to light over time that would be positive signs for the conference. As reported by Jeremy Fowler, CBS Football Insider, there has been ongoing negotiations among these three conferences. Basically, this would be bowl games set-up to include each teams from these conferences to maximize match-ups over a six year period. More good news for the ACC...and one reason, others to come to light soon enough...why none of the ACC teams are leaving the conference any time soon...

The ACC currently has an annual matchup with the PAC 12 in the Sun Bowl in El Paso, TX. I would imagine that we keep it.

The PAC-12 is too far out of the geographic footprint of the other four conferences. That's why they're being left out of this potential bowl alliance thingy.
