That's a part of recruiting that should be reported on, because, I don't think many people realize that part of it. Moreover, coaching staffs don't want them to. But asking about Lindor specifically amongst others was what rubbed I think. That happened months ago, there's been many opportunities to report on that and will be more in the future as well; if that's a story you really want to report.
 
So, I agree, I don't think it was the right platform for that.
 
I commend Bailey for his persistence, but, he's got to realize there is a time and place for things. If he doesn't, he's going to make his job harder in terms of getting information from sources he has to deal with.
 
You can be a good journalist, ask probing questions and investigate different situations. There has to be trust amongst the sources though, otherwise, you're not going to get the information you seek. Similar to almost everything in life, relationships are key. Get along before you go along.
