So here's a question

It's been a number of years now since we've encountered a recruit who we have concerns about qualifying academically. Has something changed at SU or is it something that changed in the general college landscape? I can remember towards the end of the Pasqualoni era that about 20% of recruits didn't qualify. What gives?

Kids are now only allowed to sign NLI's if they're qualified.

That's why some kids don't sign until February, and if a kid is questionable, he doesn't sign at all (see Jaelin Moss).

Also transfers, as part of the requirement for transfer eligibility, have to have their academics in order.
