So . . . how many points did Dirty score last night?

all the stories say 15, and the box scores attached to them show 15, but the story and box score at SU Athletics shows 13. I think the SU Athletics tally is official. I have not yet watched the 2nd half, so I don't know what happened, but comparing the play by play to the box score, it looks like two free throws listed as made by MCW in the play-by-play were credited to JS in the early box scores.

My daughter, who was watching the game with me, pointed out at the time that MCW's 2 pts were incorrectly credited to Southerland.

The announcers tried to rob Fair of two points on a tip in. After watching like 4 replays and it was obvious Fair tapped the ball. I can't believe with a straight face they actually missed Fair tipping the ball.

Yes that is correct. I was actually watching the scoreboard after MCW hit is free throws and saw that they were credited to JS

I thought that was really annoying too. Could the announcers really not see what CJ was trying to do there, poke the ball back up towards the basket. And it worked. They first start by thinking the big guy from 'Nova put it in, like one of those goals on your on net in soccer. Then they look at the replay again and amazingly still think that's the case. And even joke afterwards about CJ raising his hand after the shot goes in, like he was claiming something that wasn't rightfully his. That was annoying.

That and Dion banking in a three that he got hit on the arm on. Then they say the basketball gods can only shine so much on us. What if Dion missed that bank and there was no whistle? Yeah they sure we shining on us that play.
