You're probably right about the first part. I've always been a sucker for the nightlife but the reason why I mention this is I feel I've been around people who a lot of people on this board never encounter. Last night, Anthony Smith was going way overboard on Twitter about all this and was rightly destroyed in a thread on this board, but I partly get where he's coming from because I see it. Somebody who's older or has never been in that crowd has no clue why people get jaded. Now this is in no way justification for knocking your girl out but I'm just giving a different perspective on the urban modern day man/woman culture.

What I'm speaking to with this is all ancillary though. The bottom line is he messed up bad and deserved at least 8 games. The NFL tried to cover it up and now it's blown up to epic proportions. If you want extrapolate this incident to mean he is a serial woman beater who must have done numerous other atrocities in his life, I wouldn't define someone like that, but by what he did he opened himself up to that narrative on his life.
