I think the university has done a good job of upgrading the gameday experience in the last 10 years, but I really think it does a poor job at creating a connection and increasing its fan base.  Here's a few things I'd like to see happen.

1.  At least one free, safe, and reliable university run parking lot.  I cant get people to come to my tailgate because it costs 15 dollars to park.  Forget it if for some reason a family needs to use two cars because kids have stuff going on.  This seems like a natural gateway to people actually buying tickets.  Building a connection.

2. Maybe I dont know where to look, but I have no clue what is going on at the quad until I get there.  And that's mostly too late as the place is dead/shutdown 10-15 mins before game.  So it might be the coolest thing ever but I have no idea about it.

3. Giving tickets away to fort drum and pop warner is great, but I'm not sure it really does anything.  I'd like to see Buffalo, Syracuse, Albany, Binghampton, Watertown games.  If you live in that area come for free to the specified game.
