...just how good will a typical fit be?

Erv and Amba Etta-Touchdown are absolutely killing it.

Ishmael's been fulfilling his role and improving all season long.

Brisly Estime is a freak of nature.

I think they're a good fit. Sure they'd like a couple of more over the top deep threats but who doesn't.

We’ll continue to see really fast shifty slot guys and big tall wides on the outside. If you can’t get straight line speed then you go big/tall.

It’s nice to be able to throw jump balls up to guys like AT and Ish and guys like Mike Williams.

We’ve got 5 in the fold right now: It goes without saying you take the listed H/W with a grain of salt but when you watch the videos or see the pictures I think they’re fairly on the mark.

Sharod Johnson WR Miami, FL 5'10" 170

Nykeim Johnson WR Washington, DC 5'9" 170

Josh Palmer WR Fort Lauderdale, FL 6'2" 190

Cameron Jordan WR Dix Hills, NY 6'4" 187

Russell Thompson WR Bloomfield, CT 6'3" 202

Agreed, I think the wr position is the least of the issues on offense right now, need a thunder/ lightning combo in backfield and more consistent OL play and if they ever plan on using the TE that would be nice too. Wr might be the easiest plug and play spot on this system

Thompson's a big big big boy. Hope he has the speed.

if you watch BG they had 2 deep threats outside. I think the goal would be two who can get deep and 3 who have hands and are quick.. But I dont recall anyone every asking Coach what his ideal grouping would be. You can see that if Ish had better speed he would have 3-4 long tds alreay as he cant quite get clear. Phillips is perfect in this offense and I think Riley with some added strength can be that too. Estime has a nice combo of speed and strength which really becomes clear on the punt returns.

the group has talked about getting tired and the fact we hardly ever sub out shows that we need some more depth. Its one thing that we dont sub once a drive starts to keep tempo up but we also hardly ever play anyone else even at the start of a drive.

We lose the deep guy and Wake shows that threat means alot. VT played over the top all day and that opened the other throwing lanes. I think we can relace Estime on offense more than special teams. Custis might be the deep big guy next year if practice hype means anything. We need 2-3 guys from somewhere on the field next year as the following year only Riley who is seeing the field now will be around. Butler looked good the little he has seen the field. Womack? Perkins? would like to see Hill in that slot with the ball if he can catch a few others we never gotten looks at

Some schools who never throw seem to get those playmakers outside.. a couple of the GT kids the last few years would kill in this offense
