So, is Phil Thomas the Eric Devendorf of the gridiron?

Both huge trash talkers that make big plays, but give up bigger ones. As Sean McDonough said of Devo, "he keeps boths teams in the game." This seems true of Thomas so far.

He stepped up his play when Shamarko was out. Last night, not so much. But he's better than his backup; if he's really hurt, we're going to miss him.
