Pitt and GT getting to 75 in the NET would be nice to bump each of our four games against them up a quadrant. But if that's part of what we're banking on to get in the field we're in trouble.

both Su and Virg play 2 of the 3 top teams down the stretch. or course they play both at home and we play both on the road. but UNC might knock them off too. if we do better than Virg in these last set of games we get ahead of them in league and that leaves NC st and ND to beat but BC/Pitt are right there too

that gives nc st 3 losses so they cant be better than 11-9

pitt/bc only play them once so they could get to 12-8 but we play them both and need to win those anyway

Yeah ever since the streak started it was always going to be about getting a win vs one of the top 3. If Duke had not decided to shoot like Nova in 85 we would have one of those wins. We owe one to FSU who has really had our number. UVA locked them up on D and hopefully we can be enough of a problem there coupled with hopefully some slump busting. Gotta get past NC State first.

Indiana looks like they're entering a nosedive that may be hard to reverse. I've watched some of their last 2-3 games and they've looked very weak. Purdue on the other hand has been impressive as of late

purdue is a team that was shooting 25 % from 3 that decided to shoot 50-60% the last couple of games. we have gone the other way and found a way to win.

still won't be enough, we need a marquee win, so we have two regular season shots at that, and then a shot to play one of the big 3 in the ACC Tourney if we win a game or so. without that, our resume is crap, a handful of wins versus the back part of the Q1 won't do it.

the top 4 only have like 5 losses. Dayton only has 2.

duke has 2 that dont matter and Lou has good losses

WV is the only 1 with a loss to a bubble team

that gets you to the 3-4 line and as the season has shown once you get there. I mean MSU is not ranked and is on the 3 line now.. they might lose the next 2 as well. if they dont beat a ranked team they will lose 5 more and be forced to beat OSo to even get to .500 in the league. if they lose to OSU they would be 9-11 and lose 9 of 11 and get in? does 4-11 down the stretch with a win of SH 4 months ago make them not a bubble team?

Over their last eight games Purdue has beaten Mich State by 29, Iowa by 36, @ IU by 12 and Wisconsin by 19 while losing on the road to RU and MD. More important than the 3s is they've been giving up 60 points a game during this stretch. They keep that up and they'll be in the dance imo.

Have to play our way in, that's for sure. All things considered, I would be shocked (and incredibly and pleasantly surprised after the start) if we made the tournament. If nothing else, I want to keep it at least close so we can keep tracking the bubble.
