Official paper s to Yankees are still pending. A year late Base ball skills serious deteriorate after the mid 30s. Ask ARod about his body giving out with the stress.At some point even the greats have to surrender to the obvious. I'm pretty sure Derek won't embarrass himself like Jorge did last year . He will go out with his dignity secure .Arod is another matter with his big contract in hand .At least the Yankees have a ton of third basemen in the farm waiting for the vacancy at the hotcrner. SS is another matter. It isn't going to be Nunez unless there is a miraculous turnabout in his fielding. Just ain't gonna happen for him there.:bat:
