Only time I root for WVU is against Pitt.NO
Remember the Alamo!!!! (Or when Mark Warner tanked our earlier entry into the ACC in 2003)
Is Oliver Luck still the WVU AD? The one who said one of the service academies brings more to the table than Syracuse?
I always hated WVU, but I hated VT slightly more from like 1995-03. Then once they left the BE it was back to WVU, especially once Luck popped off.
I can't in good conscience say "Go..." anybody in this one. And I'm quite happy that we're a combined 4-0 this decade against these two.
Luck mouthed off in 2011 and about a week later we torched them in the Dome. Can't stand that arrogant punk. He isn't the AD anymore.
As they should. Their conference is just hanging on to P5 status at this point. If it wasn't for the name brands of Texas/Oklahoma and Kansas Basketball, they would've imploded by now given the performance and interest level of the conference.VPI played politics in 2003.
WVU and their crazy fanbase has tried to do more to destabilize the ACC as they are butthurt.
So screw WVU in this matchup.
They want to be in the ACC badly.
ACC after yesterday needs this win.
Big ups for WfVU. All-time great photo.ACC>B12
I don't root for VT often but against WfVU is one of the few exceptions.
Between this game and UCLA, what a freakin AWESOME night of football!!
I wore out my last channel button.
A stronger ACC is better for us, so go Hokie's.
The ACC is rivaling the SEC and B1G in CFB. I like playing in a strong conference that doesn't have to worry about members leaving.
In hindsight, those two schools probably saved us from complete oblivion. Can you imagine if we had been ACC fodder during the Grob years? We may have never recovered.
Just about everyone connected with UVa was pi$$ed at what Warner did. We didn't want VPI in the ACC., end of story. In hindsight, those two schools probably saved us from complete oblivion. Can you imagine if we had been ACC fodder during the Grob years? We may have never recovered.
