So should dion have been a starter from day 1 last year?

Dion would never have been drafted 4th if he had been a starter from Day 1.

Seems to have worked out the way JB had it organized. We were ranked #1 for a good portion of the season and Dion went #4 in the draft. Nothing but winners.

Yes and with Rak at the four so the paint would be more packed for Dion to drive.

And then he could come out of the game while CJ subbed in. All while we went to Triches perimeter lack of isolation game while CJ opened the lane in the high post on the right elbow making it alittle harder for scoop to drive to the rim without being doubled all while KJO hoisted up threes at one every other possession.

We could have subbed in Keita and Rak together with MCW at SF at the 6 minute mark of the first half as well.

i think that ship sailed when dion showed up as a freshman and was not ready to play. had he been in shape as a frosh, the case could have been made to start him and keep scoop as the super 6 man. but i think he showed up out of shape, scoop earned the starting job, and you weren't going to bench scoop as a 5th year senior who had clearly established himself as a leader. and there was no way that boeheim would supplant triche with the frosh waiters. it was handled appropriately IMO.

maybe we go undefeated!
Even the team that had the #1 and #2 picks AND 4 others drafted didn't go undefeated, so why would making the #4 pick a starter and getting maybe 5 more minutes a game mean the team would be undeferated? Obviously having the starting center get suspended had nothing to do with 2 of the 3 loses.
