So chastise someone that doesn't want to/cant drive 10 hours round trip to go to a game on a regular basis, yet you don't want to drive 10 hours trip just once.

BTW, maybe SU wouldn't have needed the met life money if fans showed up better? Hell, maybe they wouldn't have needed the met life money if you just donated some of your hard earned cash. Attendance is up over 2012. Not sure that will hold if the roof completely caves in, but so far it isn't bad.

I started this thread because someone else complained that only 29,000 people were going to show up for this game. I think the whole premise is stupid to call out, especially if you don't plan on attending yourself. The tickets are about as cheap as you can get, $125 for 6 games. If the complaint is that you live too far away to be there then don't b*tch about attendance. Some people expect the dome to be sold out for every game when they in fact have no inclination of being there.

So we're left with those that live locally to make up at least 80% of the fannies in the seats, and that's being conservative. But the student section is mostly empty as was evident this Saturday.

It wasn't full - but there was a pretty good contingent of students there. I took this at the beginning of the 2nd quarter, and there were students still coming in at that point.

Understand what you meant. I noticed at one point you could see nothing but silver looking at the section next to the band in the end zone. That is all on the students.
