Decided to spend the evening with my wife and son. Good choice on my part.

So I check the score late in the game, see that it doesn't look good, skimmed the game thread and some of the postgame stuff, and I'm just scratching my head.

We ran 65 plays and ran more than we passed. Did we abandon our offense?

Sales caught his first pass with like two minutes to go. Why? I have a hard time believing the Minny scheme was so exceptional that they completely removed him.

Sounds like more troubles on specials. How is this possible?

I read about the sweep call. Don't even want to know anymore.

Marrone's accountable. Just awful.

You know what though? Congrats to Alec Lemon. That dude's a warrior.

turnovers, stupid penalties, o-line getting manhandled and some questionable play calling.

That pretty much sum it up?

That sums it up perfectly !

What happened tonight? Nothing that we haven't seen before my man.....nothing we haven't seen before.

I would say it was more than some questionable play calling. I would say we did abandon our offense too.

Beats the hell out of me but if anyone figures it out please let me know. Watching on TV makes it impossible to see what is happening down field so I have no idea what the coverage was like but could have been that good? Geez.

You are going to see pitt with all 11 players within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage, we don't frighten anyone with our speed at receiver so get used to it. Clark isn't playing, Kobena will be coming back from injury, so won't play much,Sales,West,Lemon great possesion receivers but don't extend the field. Nassib is going to have to be almost perfect to have any success.

I really enjoyed Anderson giving #82 10 yards with no safety shadow on 3rd & 8. Makes sense. Carrot top had to be drooling to make that throw.

How about jam the out of him at the line and then have a safety shadow for the intermediate route? Is this rocket science? :noidea:
