- Nassib isn't making people pay with his legs or the long ball... tough to make back-breaking plays that way. Not only can teams play aggressively because we don't burn them deep, we don't use their aggressiveness against them enough by letting Ryan break a 25-yard scamper.

- Perhaps our best receiver is a TE that has good, but not great speed. So even though he isn't a gamebreaker, he still has to be on the field, so it is tough to just replace him with a WR to get more of a speed mismatch out there.

- Bailey goes down too easily and lacks vision. Another reason why defenses can play aggressively.

- Our guys feed off of emotion, but in the games that we should win, the staff takes such a conservative approach that it takes forever for the offense to get into rhythm.

All in all, I just think Marrone is fighting through a tough year where the pieces just don't fit together as well. Individually I don't think the talent is as bad as others on the board seem to believe, but I just don't think they mesh. Too many weaknesses that play into other weaknesses. That's what's killing the consistency IMO, and why we are being exploited late in the year.
