I'm with you, no doubt it was a planned package. My problem with it is that at that point Kimble had thrown 0 collegiate passes. Wilson was getting into a rhythm and had moved us down the field, converting multiple third downs in the process. There's something to be said for flow, momentum and confidence. All of which that had been gained during that drive, we're somewhat diminished by the switch in the Red Zone.

Furthermore, whether he lets on or not, that has to bother Wilson in some manner. Kimble probably ran that package great in practice. And, the defense had yet to see it.
It's the Pistol Inverted Wishbone. There's a ton of play fakes and power run you can do out of it.

I will just never agree with switching QB's at the end of a drive like that. And I know Tebow did it, along with a plethora of others including Duke last year. Let Wilson finish what he started.

As an aside, Duke's defense was definitely designed for Wilson, they saw no threat of a scramble. Probably had no idea Kimble could run either, that's why you saw him have success with his feet on the scoring drive. I think we have infinitely more success with Hunt yesterday, and, to a lesser extent AJ.
