I was shocked how quiet it was.. Usually much busier around that area.. I also noticed a change in the food. Usually there is a large tent with food and then a food trucks,, This year they had the tent but no food only some drinks and they had 3 food trucks.. BBQ/Pizza/Italian. But if you wanted burgers/dogs/fries/salt potatoes/salad all the things they have had previous years I didnt stumble across it. Its pretty easy to put down a dog if you lack time but to woof down a pizza take a bit of time and a table.

Guess its another cut back of some kind.

I believe it was based off of feedback that they got from fans that they preferred the food trucks over the other stuff

Maybe but the food trucks were always there... Last year there were people at the trucks but way more people at the tent food lines like 3-4x as many people... I wonder if the food trucks complained. Thats fine so bring in a truck that sells that kind of food.. you really gonna make a kid eat a pasta meal pre-game?

Think you’ll see improvement in that area as the season goes on. Believe the goal is to have those three always there and then a couple other rotating ones.

It is odd they got rid of the “normal” food vendor

No change from last year. You got your drinks in the tent and then to the food trucks.

last year i got food in that tent or went to the trucks. I dont really care where i get the food but the selection needs to be better.

I’m guessing the selection will vary week to week? I liked the change.

I would never know since the syracruz tailgate is always choice 1,2 and 3

I didnt mind options.. I dont like that they didnt have a simple option.. hamb/hot dogs should always be an option. What stadium makes it this hard to get those 2 things? BBQ/Italian wood fired pizza nice options but you have to have the core stuff.. once you are in the dome its the opp you can get 2-3 basic things and then you have to know what small corner to wonder into to get some alternative.

Maybe you actually just presented the best argument. Have burgers and dogs outside so that you can go inside and get burgers and dogs?
