So...

I don't mean to be a dick, but no.

Personally, I think much of the fanbase is more a fan of JB than of the program itself. If Wildhack forced him out, these people would revolt.

Me, I just want a fun, exciting, tough and intelligent team, that plays with max effort, Whether JB is the coach or someone else, I don't care.

That's an interesting point. I'm not ready to say it's "much of the fanbase" but it might be more than I realized.

I agree with your second point very much. Every single other team I have cheered for over the years has had coaching changes and I haven't stopped being a fan. I'll still be a Syracuse native and cheer for my team.

I’m hoping JB will come to his own conclusion that it’s time for him to consider retirement. At some point, it’s not enjoyable and time to move on. He will be the first to know when it’s time.

You are wrong on the last point. It's already past time. We are not who we were. And with Jb and this staff, we won't ever be again. JB is playing favorites. there is no other explanation for playing Buddy at the 3. And everyone knows that. let me get this straight, Buddy can play the 3 but Griff can't play the 2.

If you don't like the thread, just ignore it. It doesn't matter because everyone knows jay wright or Rick Pitino or Brad Stevens are going to be our next coach. Or G-mac.
uh ok, kind of hard to know a thread w a title of "so" is about Oats... there's a multi-page thread right at the top of the hoops board about this very topic but OP apparently really needs to be heard, can't just post in the thread that's right there - just clutters up an already cluttered board

I know. I was just having fun with you.

Let’s just hire the biggest personality recruiter! Someone respected. Someone charming. Someone connected with the elite high school programs. Someone young players connect with. Someone with a rap. If he is a capable coach that would be a bonus. But we need to get talent on campus one way or another.( probably wouldn’t hurt if he had great hair)

Unfortunately, it’s been time for several years. It’s been a trend. He needs to go this off-season but I would be absolutely shocked if that is the case. And someone earlier in this thread said Jb would know. IMO, there is 0% chance JB will ever step down on his own accord. Hope I’m wrong, but I don’t see there being a change made until at least after buddy. So, at least 2 more years before anything changes.

I was a strong JB supporter until the last few years. He’s making decisions that make no sense, playing favorites, and repeating the same mistakes every year.

His gotten old/lazy with recruiting and isn’t doing what’s best for the team with his rotations. The game has evolved, he hasn’t. Time to go Coach .
