This is hypocritical of me, since I am on here and Twitter hitting the refresh button like it is morphine drip, however we cannot expect anyone to say anything of lasting substance until there is a completed, signed deal. We all know this in real life, but we sit at our computers hoping for instant answers.

Unfortunately, it is difficult for 18 year old high school students to have the patience needed in these situations (college decisions, etc). Let's just hope the athletic department stays level-headed and makes decisions that will pass the test of time.

Everyone is assuming that DM left us without saying goodbye, but he hasn't even had a chance to appropriately address the team yet as his contract is not finalized. The news being leaked spreads like wildfire with Twitter today. Marrone has to be pissed about this just like his former players are.

It is a shitty situation all around.

Bullshit. No excuse for not communicating with his team. Especially as an alumn and someone who supposedly cares about these young men and the direction of the SU program. No excuse.
