Getting thoroughly dominated on the glass (UVA had more offensive rebounds than we had defensive boards) + a dismal offensive effort + a team that shot lights out for a long stretch + overall subpar defense = an ugly game that wasn't nearly as close as the 12 point margin suggests.

Arguably the worst SU team on the break I've seen in many years.

I'm always waiting for something bad to happen.

And that's a big problem with this team. JB teams rely on the zone defense to turn turnovers into easy baskets. This team has struggled to do that all year.

i'd venture to guess benching your starting point guard becuz he's not playing well makes a bit more of a statement when his replacements actually play well. they didn't and we still lost.
