VT is giving the ball away left and right.. doubt they continue that all year.

NC State had a chance to win against East Carolina. Their defense is not good. Doeren is really on the hot seat now. From the SU perspective, if Doeren gets fired, it is a good thing because with his and his staff's Midwestern background, we compete with them regularly for players from the Midwest and they win their share of these battles.

Duke lost their QB in the spring and without him, their offense is not the same. Wake still can't pass the ball (only 9 completions) but they hurt Duke with their running game. They have a frosh RB named Carney who got over 100 yards rushing and scored 3 TDs. Their defense still looks good.

The BC/UMass game was closer than the score indicates. BC was losing late in the first half and UMass was a TD down well into the 3rd quarter. BC looks to have another strong defense against the run. Not as strong defending the pass. Towles threw it okay and was BC's leading rusher. He isn't great but is a big improvement over the disaster they had last season.

Frost better start winning or he can forget about bolting for a better job for at least another year ;)

FYI, USF was missing their star RB who crushed us last year, concussion protocol. Sounds like he may play this week, lucky us.

How about the end of that CMU - Oklahoma State game? Think we'd be a little upset?

Yes, it's easy to say there are way better ways to run out the clock.

Yes, it's easy to say how can you not stop a hail mary then lateral.

But to have the refs from the away team conference admit that they misinterpreted the rule and that the game should have been over. But nothing we can do about it now. That part makes ZERO sense to me.
