Drew isn't going to put every hit he manages in the seats. I think Ref's defense is improving to the extent that he is worth another look.

At the very least he will be included in the September roster expansions along with Judge and maybe even Jaigelo who seems to be doing well in the farm. If the Yankees want a peek at Jorge Mateo they could bring him up to see what and how he plays in the bigs. He was one of the more asked for players when the trade deadline was approaching and the Yankees were window shopping.
What they do know is that the kid can fly and is already a super stolen base kind of kid. Defense is not at all a problem.
