2024 our roster was 44% juniors and seniors.  2025 it was 34%.  We are playing boys vs other team's men.  Even with portal guys added, our 2026 number is going to be close to 34% again.  Can't win with 2/3 of your roster being underclassmen.  2025 UVA had over 60% of their roster as upperclassmen due to the portal.

We only have 7 guys left from the 2024 recruiting class of 26 players.  We're not keeping a high enough % of the HS guys for building through HS to work.  We paid Ross, Hornsby, etc. to develop and produce nothing for us, now that they are ready to produce as juniors they will be playing for someone else.

How many potential G5 all conference junior/senior starters is Calvin Russell alone costing us? 2? 3?  He better be worth it right away as a freshman.

Fran is a good dude but he's high school recruiting as if he has UGA resources.  Wildhack really should have hired someone who had success at a small school on a very limited budget.  Even if we get the X's and O's right this year Fran could still fail due to lack of roster construction experience.
