Something that I love about Shafer that I haven't seen mentioned

I love that when there's an injured player on the field, he almost always goes out to see how they're doing. That's someone I would want my son to play for. I think it should be a given that at least one member of the coaching staff should do it, but I'm surprised how few HC do (I think Jay Wright also does).

Yes, I have noticed that. Very true and good point. He cares about his players as if they are his own kids.

If Shafer did think of everything, the press conference after the Clemson game might have been different...
