From UB.

Just thought it was interesting due to how many guards we have offers on the table for. Kids a scorer and a play maker, but probably not ideal for the 2-3.

Just put the thread up to see if there'd be any discussion.

We don't have room for him next year.

Is this the beginning of UB unraveling after such a promising start?

There's your answer. :(

Our AD is a jack wagon. UB still has Beardan, Moss, Skeete and a lot of other talent though.

Hurley leaving and the moron AD caused Evans to leave and a, i think, 4 star recruit.

Hurley already making moves at ASU...the Sun Devils are one of Thon Maker's 4 finalists because of the relationship his ppl have with Hurley.

Don't even tell me that :(

Great anywhere but UK is a good thing. I'd love to see the remaining unsigned guys spread out rather than pile on the UK ship like the last few years.

Same here--would be fun to watch them get burned by their own methodology not working out in their favor.

Even more strange is that he might be a second semester guy next year if he reclassifies to 2015. His father also said the Jennings/Mudiay overseas route is not an option.

who's the 4 star that's leaving?

They wouldn't be totally burned as they have Briscoe, Ulis, Lee, Johnson, Poythris, Labissiere, Matthews and the little used Hawkins & Floreal. It would be a much less stacked roster than usual and one that could suffer from foul trouble up front.

PG: Ulis, Briscoe
SG: Briscoe, Matthews
SF: Poythris, ?????
PF: Lee, Poythris
C: Labissiere, Johnson

No real SF at all and much smaller at the guard spot. I just hope they don't get Brown he would slide right in at the SF spot and solidify that front court rotation. They will likely land at least one more front court player and again I'm just hoping its not a SF who can actually play.

If Hurley can go to a place like ASU and make them an immediate contender for a top tier recruit... I don't see why couldn't be out of the conversation for SU, god forbid, something goes wrong with Hopkins.

I think the Harrison's were solid but I think they'll be better with their current guards than they were with the Harrisons taking up the time on the court that they did. They're still going to be really good, as good as last year? No, contender? Absolutely.

I think that in theory a Ulis/Briscoe back court is better than the Harrison's offensively. Briscoe will have to share the handling duties and distribute but he has all the makings of being and excellent college guard. Defensively Ulis is great at ball pressure but small and in the halfcourt/backboards I'm thinking they will a step down from the Harrison's. I'm not real familiar with Matthews except that he's a pretty good sized guard who is a shooter/slasher. All in all UK will once again be a very good team, but likely more beatable. Add a great SF like Brown though and they could easily win it all if things develop well.
