Did Cuse nation take over? TV is misleading as they can make any fan base sound loud. WE are so polarizing I'm always curious to see if the neutral fan did the usual and supported the underdog or not.

Honestly, it was really hard to tell because everyone was wearing orange and blue. But if I had to guess, based on how loud the UVA fans were when they were winning and how fast the arena cleared out after the game, I would say probably 65 -35 UVA fans.

It was probably 60% Cuse 40% Virginia in the first have through when they were up 15 in the second half their fans were loud. When the rally started they got really quiet and the Cuse contingent went into overdrive it was really load.

You are right on all the orange and blue but from where I was sitting in the 200's there was only two real areas of UVA fans down in the lower corner by the basket and one area to the right of the second basket. Of course the guy behind me got really quiet with 6:00 left.

It's possible my perspective was skewed by the fact that I was directly behind the UVA prep band, and my whole section was filled with a bunch of Wahoos.
In retrospect, it does seem like I saw a lot more fans wearing Cuse gear than UVA walking around outside before and after the game.

It sounded insanely loud for Syracuse during our run. Kevin Harlan had to scream "Richardson has gone mad!!". Now that could just be CBS/TBS turning up sound for the run but I heard LGO chants in the first half as well.

Can we please get a short vid just of that statement. Amazing stuff. I cant stop watching.

Sounded like a heavy Cuse advantage to me on TV, especially during the 8-2 start.

CBS/TBS mike the crowd so much better than ESPN. Don't care for a lot of their production, but this really improves the TV experience. Good on them.

Honestly I feel like being there sometimes makes it harder to say, so much can depend on what section you're in. I was in 114, there were a lot more UVA fans there but it was pretty damn loud for both runs.

Heard some pretty strong LGO chants right off the bat. Upon watching replays, the crowd seemed bonkers during the run. I didn't notice any of it because we were screaming so loud at my house. Actually made my daughter start crying she got so scared during the run.

It's just that the 35 shouted louder than the 65 because they had good reason!

LGO - atmosphere was simply electric where I was sitting! Bumped into Richardson that morning near the elevator and told him he's due for a big night and told him to light it up! He simply smiled and said "that's the plan"!

Dude, I love your guy behind you comment. Years ago I went to the MSU - Syracuse game in MSG. I had to endure the biggest a hole during the game. Every time MSU would score the guy would scream in my ear, "Whewwwwwwwwwwwww" in a high pitch irritating voice. Form that moment MSU is like Georgetown for me. Every time we beat them I get happy inner grin.

Also during that game there was a 10 year old kid in front of me with "Izzo for President" sign. It was painful.

He may have been thinking about you all day with that comment. Energy follows thought. Nice job!!
