The mother publically freaking out like that kind of explains why the son is like 20 years old and can't handle getting onto an airplane. She's acting like they left a 5 year old behind. What are they supposed to do, take roll call attendance on the flight? Mom - shut up. Son - grow up.

Yeah this doesn't really seem like a big deal. OMG, a 6'8", 220 lb man had to hang out, play on his phone and munch on an Auntie Anne's pretzel for a little while in the airport!

The "blame somebody else" aspect just doesn't sit right with me. Your 20 year old son can't get on a damn airplane on time, and you want to blame someone else? Should somebody have held his hand and walked him onto the plane?

This generation of parents is something else. This guy is in college and will be looking for a job in a year or two! And he can't get on a plane on time despite already being at the airport, and his mom publically blames others for that! Pathetic.

Is that a weird euphemism? Depending on how Aunt Annie looked, that may have been worth missing a plane for.
