At what cost? There were less than 40k TOTAL at the game against USC. And probably half were USC fans. Do you really think any game is going to draw more than 60k total? And out of that 60k, do you really think SU can put 40k in the seats? No way.
 
If you live in NYC like I do, you should be acutely aware of the competition for people's dollars and how far down on the interest list college football is, let alone SU football.
 
If we start doing anything other than kickoff classic type stuff against a OOC team or a 1-1-1, you will be seeing even less people at the Dome.
 
And sorry to say, SU can't move the whole university down to NYC. Just because you are going through tough times, doesn't mean the answer is "NYC". 
 
And I don't care what the opinion is of who bears the fault for the lack of attendance at the Dome, but it is a reality that needs to be tended to. And if your fix is to send more games to NYC, then you are teeing up our team to be playing in front of 15k per week at the Dome, regardless of whose fault it is.
 
We will never, ever be able to pull in the fans to do a 50/50 split with a ND or Mich or PSU at Met Life. We just played a private school based in LA that outdrew us in NYC.
