I've been there forever, I can see what the support is and has been with some rare exceptions just like any other part of the fanbase. They are no different or better than the other segments. Go watch the 4th quarter SB clip panning the lower level on the SU side. The donor/parent sections? 50% full at best. Sad. The student sections? 10% full. They had already booked. There was a time the students didn't fully support the bball program either. That's why their seats got moved. It was an embarrassment to see those empty court side sections all game long unless it was GTown. That worm started to turn when JB made a brilliant move and went into the dorms and met with students. It's been a love affair since and a strong student connection to the program has been great.
