Was 80 before Georgia Tech. Then it went to 119. Our Defensive Rating before Tech was 40 and dropped to 16. Only takes a game, or a few shots here or there to change his rankings. I think that shows you there really isn't much difference in any of the teams in the top 50 overall.

At #99-119 you are in the meat of the NCAA S-Curve, so tiny fluctuations move you up and down quite a bit.
The difference between #99 and #119 is 104.1 pts / 100 possessions and 103.3 pts / 100 possessions.

So imagine having one good offensive game where you are close to 115/100, which we were probably near against Wake. That's an extra 12 points above normal... divided by our number of games played ... and that explains the increase of 0.8/100.
