I really appreciated the effort and it made me and my families first Syracuse football game a great experience.

How were the NCSt fans ?

Polite. Not very engaging though. I had a longer conversation with a Pack fan (who was not going to game) at the McDonalds that I got breakfast at (45 mins from Raliegh) than I had at any point while at the stadium (I walked several miles amongst the sea of red). When I stopped for gas on my back to Wilmington in that same area, there were two Pack fans there filling up, still in there colors and had obviously gone to game. When I got out of my van adorned in orange, they both just looked at the ground and avoided making eye contact. It was weird and uncomfortable for them I guess.

I would guess that when we played them in bball and had a lot of fans that were boisterous, that it left a sour taste in their mouths. They are also unsure of their football team and losing to a team just in acc at home and never having the lead I'm sure stings. I do believe that ncsu will be a team we will develop a rivalry.
