Military Bowl Presented by Northrop Grumman, Annapolis, Md. (Noon ET, ESPN)
ACC vs. American
Syracuse vs. Army

I don’t see us sinking that low.
At 8-4 probably not. 7-5 definitely a good possibility...despite us being 6-2 it seems like most of the league has 6 wins or 5 wins and are big name programs. The standings will be packed and geography will play in a big part in who goes where, so this projection could easily become reality.

Vt falling that far wont want to be there.. Duke doesnt travel. Pitt/SU would travel about the same. BC is hoping to get beyond the 7-6 yr rut. NC state hopes to be higher, Wake wont get to six if we beat them. Miami falling to that spot wont travel. Gt who knows.. Virg has set themselves up for more

Pinstripe could pass on Syracuse and take Va Tech, NC St or Miami, rare chance to get one of those teams for the Pinstripe and they’d avoid repetition with Syracuse. Or we can just win 2-3 more games and go somewhere with sun.

SU will sell the most tickets out of that group, and we’d be in the middle of the pack w/ ratings.

We may do better, but we aren’t getting passed.

nc st and miami are not coming to play in NY city for a team that has fallen that far with any great numbers. in talking with some big Miami backers they are already off the train for this season.

Pitt brings fewer fans to their home games than we would for the Pinstripe.

That said, Peach Bowl or bust

My guess is the Pinstripe takes the loser of BC vs. Syracuse. We haven't been in 5 years. They would be happy to have a northeastern school to anchor that game.

Do you really believe that the Pinstripe folks would want Syracuse in Yankee Stadium twice in one season?

Yes. We're good for about 10k to 15k fans, not including bandwagon types. The only other ACC teams that would bring that many fans are Clemson (bigger fish to fry), Notre Dame (see Clemson), FSU (probably wont be bowl eligible), Va Tech (yuck) and BC.

The fact is none of the bowls matter unless you are in the top 6 in the country, so with that I am good with the Pinstripe(low cost trip with son), the Military bowl(another low cost, plus I am former military) or a Florida bowl.

Yes, and they’d do is 3x if they could.

Were 6-2 and ranked. We should honestly aim higher than a bowl game vs. service academy or appearingmin the same bowl for the third time in eight years.

So if we want a better bowl, we have to win 3 out of the remaining 4.
If we want that New Year's bowl, whatever they call it, we'll need to beat Notre Dame.

I’ve been reading your orange posts for years and every time I still feel the need to try and click on your words. EVERY.TIME.

I think 2 more wins should get it done.
