We've decided we are going to make the trip and bring the kids up to see the dome and Syracuse football for the first time. This is our first time making up for the spring game and I have a few questions.

Have they announced anything other than the game?
How do they do parking?
Anything else going on during the day or Saturday?

Parking is free in the lower lots.
I’ve seen nothing else other than the date.

Also, how loud is it in there for this event typically? Do I need headphones for the 6month old?

Last year there was music playing during it, but there has been occasions where you can hear the hum of the lights.

Lacrosse doubleheader against UNC (womens / mens) on Saturday

I always enjoy going to the Spring Fling and it usually pretty mellow and quiet unless HCDB has his Santana or the like blasting away. Great seats to watch and I always enjoy watching how the players interact with each other on the sidelines along with seeing who can catch the ball and throw it. It's over before you know it.

Sat next to the Graves my first spring game (Marv's too) and Mr's Graves was a nervous wreck. 4 years later I accidentally sat next to the McNabbs for Donny's first scrimmage. TD or CA's parents may be wise to find me Friday night if we're able to go.

I went to last year’s. My avatar is me and my daughter with Shamarko Thomas who came back for it. We also spoke briefly with Jay Bromley who was there. I missed out on the autographs, but I did see Bambrewer and family in the concourse.

This and fan fest is the prime opportunity to get the kids rubbing elbows with the team. My son made out like a bandit last year.

I’m hoping this will get my son into it more. He’s off and on with watching the games. He’ll watch “Whose House Our House” until his eyeballs fall out though. I think having a personal connection to the team (going there, meeting people) will having him wanting more.

Absolutely. The guys treat the kids so well, and your kid will start to feel like they “know” them. Shafer had a good handle on that, and always seemed to remember my kids. When we met Babers at fan fest, he picked my son up for the picture. They clearly make an effort to cater to the young’ns. Dungey too.

I'm guessing whoever is playing QB will be able to hear your crying baby. It's a pretty bland atmosphere.

Yes, glad DINO agreed to this format again as the last 2 spring games have been a bore without any personal interaction. Will the assistants be available too or are they still in the protection program, lol:) ?
